Here is the image we were working from in class. Remember that you are trying to match proportion, shape, and value. Pay attention to where shapes stop and start in relationship to each other.
When determining the values you want to first figure out where your brightest spots are – this will be white paper. Next figure out your darkest areas – these should be the darkest black you can produce. Everything else will be some shade of gray.
This is a formative grade for the 2nd nine weeks.
