Extra Credit!!!!1!!!one!

Like the title says:  EXTRA CEDIT!

The KISD show starts today and on display is artwork from all the high schools and middle schools.  It is open late tonight, and is open on Saturday.  If you go on Saturday, there is a concurrent art show of practicing professional artists, selling their wares.  In the past, there have even been some artists making things right on site.  Then information is below:

Exhibit opens: Monday, February 27, 2017 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting/Reception 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Tuesday – Friday, February 28 – 3, 2017

8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Saturday, March 4 with Take 190 West festival:

10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Admission is free

 

THE ASSIGNMENT:

For extra credit, we have a scavenger hunt!  Your task is to take a selfie next to the artwork described by the cryptic and vague descriptors given below.  To get credit, it must be a selfie with the work visible.  Present these photos to me by Monday, March 6th to get credit.  Each correct answer will add 1 point to a test grade.

  1. This king has been painted in a typical Rococo color scheme.
  2. Only real “squares” would like these art history based artworks.
  3. If Pinocchio and Degas had a love child.
  4. This vanitas-like image is all about her playing with your heart.
  5. This pop art inspired artist has nothing to say.
  6. The Whos would live here.
  7. Clearly Kandinskys.
  8. These “hillbillies” are suitable for an Adult Swim television series.
  9. These Picasso-esque portraits are falling to pieces.
  10. An analogous block print that clearly has an issue with hands.
