Make-Up Field Trip Assignment

Sadly, not all of you were able to join us last Thursday for the field trip.  In order to help you be able to follow potential conversations we will have within class, and to give you a sense of what we saw, I want you to fully critique the following three images:

Kehinde Wiley, “Napoleon Leading the Army Over the Alps,” 2005

Gustave Caillebotte, “The Floor Scrapers,” 1876

Ed Ruscha, “Standard Station with 10-cent Western Being Torn in Half,” 1937

Since you are just now getting this, and I know some of you are busy this weekend with tournaments and such, the due date for this will be Thursday, January 14th, by 11:00 p.m.

Just to be clear, this is ONLY for those who did not go on the trip with us.
